Hey y’all, im Sophia! I play varsity tennis and the clarinet, and i’m involved in my school’s student government, BETA, FBLA, Amnesty, HSDA, writing, and diversity clubs. Emilia is a senior in high school who has always had a passion for activism work. She wants to change the world for the better and is constantly striving to do so, starting with her very own high school! Outside of activism work, Emilia loves skiing, snowboarding, participating in various clubs such as Speech and Debate and Mock Trial, reading, hanging out with friends, and attempting to longboard: ) She also has a passion for music and theater!

Aidan Finnell is a junior at Myers Park High School, where she focuses on advocating for student rights inside the classroom and within the curriculum being taught. She works with various international and nationally known organizations as well as being apart of various youth led initiatives dedicated to student representation throughout their community and is excited to see where AOY goes next.

I’m currently 17 and a senior at Denmark high school in Georgia state. My hobbies include gardening and house plants (I own over 80) and I’m really excited to work with AOY to voice my own opinions knowing I’m making a real change.

Hi I’m Isha I use she/her pronouns and I’m 15. I love debating and writing but also dance and pageants. In my spare time I love to teach and dance and in the future I hope to be a lawyer.

I'm 16, a junior at the Montessori School of Raleigh, I live in North Carolina, and I'm a writer here at AOY; I've spent most of quarantine writing about political topics for an audience of one (and sometimes two), so I'm hoping it'll be nice to write for a larger audience

I am super excited to be working with AOY as a writer & publisher since I am someone who is very passionate about education, mental health advocacy, civil rights, and equality for all. During my free time you can find me doing anything related to music or theater, traveling, boating, working at Starbucks, and spending time with family/friends.
