Sanjna Desai

Hi everyone! I'm Sanjna and I founded Amplify Our Youth. I am a junior in Gwinnett County. I am beyond happy to be able to lead this great group of leaders. I initially started AOY to share writing pieces and now it has transformed into a global organization and I cannot imagine it any other way. I am the GA State Policy Director of Generation Ratify and also founded the 21st Century Leaders Club at my school. I absolutely love staying involved in my community and giving back to those who made me the person I am today.

Alexis Johnson

Helloo!! My name is Alexis Johnson and my pronouns are she/her! I am a senior at Irvine High School and a fun fact about me is that I have been dancing since I was four. I am the event coordinator for Amplify Our Youth and can't wait for an exciting year!

Tate Mociun

Hey everyone, my names Tate Mociun and I'll be serving as VP here on our executive board this year. I've lived here in beautiful South Carolina my entire life and attended Wilson Hall school since grade 1. I'm so excited for this year and cannot wait to see what we'll all accomplish together. Riley Luna Ford

17, Vice Chair, Helena, MT, any pronouns

As a member of multiple different youth engagement social justice groups, I am very excited to be serving as the co vice chair for amplify our youth. I have a large passion for politics, writing + reporting, and change. i am a board member for Montana youth action, a fellow for forward Montana, an intern for the Montana democratic party, a content created for bridge to literacy, and just recently I have started a diversify your narrative chapter in my town. I hope to make a real difference one day, and I am so grateful for amplify our youth for giving me a platform to do that.

Mehek Rana

Hi! I'm Mehek and I am the Project Director! I'm 16 and my pronouns are she/her! I have grown up in Georgia and currently attend Denmark High School in Alpharetta. At Denmark I have been a part of theatre, tennis, student government, and a social change club, all of which I enjoy immensely as they bring me different aspects of fulfillment. I am super excited to be a part of this brilliant organization and to educate our youth and elders of the problems we face today and how they can play a part in fighting for change!

My name is Suvasini Subbaraman and I go to Corona Del Sol in Changler, Arizona. I go by she/they pronouns and I draw and sing for my band, Fruit Punch! I'm super excited for Amplify Our Youth as Chapter Director because of the diversity in our board and raising awareness!

Hey! My name is Myles and my pronouns are he/him. I’m currently a highschool junior and am so excited to be the Chapter Director for Amplify Our Youth! One quick fun fact about me is that I want to be a doctor in the future! Amplify Our Youth gets me excited because of the opportunity we have to encourage people to voice their opinions on important issues that affect us!

I'm Miasha Sutherland, I go to Winter Springs High School and my pronouns are they/she! I live in Casselberry, Florida and I really enjoy music and learning about how to help global youth!

Hello, my name is Jun Ryoo and i am very excited to be able to work with AYO. i’m a current junior at Suwanee, GA and i’m 16 years old! I am currently a cross country runner/tennis player and enjoy playing the piano during my free time. I am involved in many leadership programs & services in and out of school. I like to spend some time during the weekend to volunteer in order to help the community around me!

Sam Sidoti

I am very interested and involved in all different social sciences, I am currently doing an independent study on sociology. I am in student council and key club at my school. I am the sophomore class president and I help with volunteering and fundraisers in the community. I am so excited to be given the opportunity to work with Amplify Our Youth!

Samantha Anorve

Hi ! My name is Samantha Anorve & my pronouns are She/Her ! I live in Compton, CA and go to Compton High School. I have been assigned the position of Co-Social Media Director and I am beyond excited ! I'm actually on the dance team for my school and that’s my favorite hobby I have as of right now lol ! I’m super excited about Amplify Our Youth because it is extremely important to get our generation to talk about all the major issues going on. We are the future and it’s only right to encourage others to work together to better it for ourselves and for each other !

I love teaching and learning from people and this is a great opportunity or me to do just that ! I think it’s very important for everyone to know what’s happening around them whether it be local or international and this is an awesome way to do that

Hi! My name is Akary Win and I’m a freshman that goes to Southington High school in Connecticut. I use she/her pronouns. I’m a team project manager for Amplify Our Youth and I’m so excited to be working with this organization because of the diversity and how we’re working altogether to raise awareness in certain topics. I’ve always liked talking about human rights issues and politics in general which is why I want to be a human rights lawyer when I grow up!

Hi my name is Isa, I’m 17, and I use he/she/they pronouns. I go to Chatfield Senior High in Littleton, CO. I am the co-director of the fundraising department. I am super excited to get to work with my amazing team and give teens like me a voice.

Izzy Kierce

In school I’m apart of organizations like the National Honor Society and National Green Schools Society. I also love being a part of cross country, cheerleading, and track and field at my school. Outside of school, I enjoy volunteering at the Nine Lives of Norton cat shelter, spending time with my pets, and engaging in organizations where I can voice what it’s important to me, like AOY.

I’m excited to be a part of Amplify Our Youth because many young people are unaware of how they can involve themselves in issues they are passionate about. With AOY, we have created an organization designed completely by young people for young people, which I find pretty amazing. I cannot wait to see what we accomplish as a whole this year and I’m elated that I have the opportunity to be apart of it.

I am a climate and social justice activist i have been a climate activist for about an year now and have always felt the need to amplify social issues as much as climate as they both are like hand and glove you cannot have one without the other and the best place to do it is Amplify Our Youth.
